f. cul.

Russula subnigricans inedulis-cyclopropenica

inedulis: NO RESIDUAL IS ACCEPTABLE, so no method is offered -- and no chemistry is established to state in front of the warning. The word is about the ENDPOINT, not the route: a route may well exist and the word still applies, because the reduction cannot be taken low enough. Where the chemistry IS established the term is compounded, as `solubilis-fickeana-inedulis`. Bare `inedulis` says only that no residual is acceptable and that nothing is yet known about how the molecule behaves.

Gate 0. Molecules of concern: M59 Cycloprop-2-ene carboxylic acid Open investigation, beside Gate 0: At Gate 0 on rule 11: cycloprop-2-ene carboxylic acid (M59), fatal rhabdomyolysis; at the key's portion of 50 g, about 36 mg of the acid against a mouse-scaled lethal dose of about 150 mg, with human sensitivity unknown. Open beside it: the acid's water solubility and its leaching from the tissue are inferred from the structure, not measured; the engine's overnight-soak figures (8 % left at 10:1, about 3 mg of the 36; 0.7 % after two baths) rest on a scaled diffusion coefficient and an assumed bound fraction of zero; the one soak on record, Osaka 1972, cannot separate the soak from the soup that followed it. What would settle it: A measured solubility of the acid, or a leaching assay of the tissue, or its content after a kitchen operation; and the Osaka 1972 case as Okuzawa et al. 2004 (毒きのこ今昔) record it, whether the soak water was discarded. The species stays at Gate 0 while the question is open; William Rubel rules on what is found.

Needs Investigation. Why it is here: At Gate 0 on rule 11: cycloprop-2-ene carboxylic acid (M59), fatal rhabdomyolysis; at the key's portion of 50 g, about 36 mg of the acid against a mouse-scaled lethal dose of about 150 mg, with human sensitivity unknown. (a published record). What would settle it: A measured solubility of the acid, or a leaching assay of the tissue, or its content after a kitchen operation; and the Osaka 1972 case as Okuzawa et al. 2004 (毒きのこ今昔) record it, whether the soak water was discarded.
